Summer Christmas in Ireland.

I just got confirmation from Maria that she got her gifts.  Yea! She won't be able to blog about them for a while though, so I thought I would share with you.

It was the Christmas in July swap, so I sent her some fab holiday decor:
Here is the whole lot:
Other than this pin, I made everything for her.
There are two stockings, made from left over scraps of the velvet that was used to make my wedding dress.  The white top is scraps of white felt that I fluffed up a bit, by stretching and scrunching it. The stockings open up enough to put tiny things inside them!  The pillows that you see behind the stockings, were made using fabric from my wedding also.  I never throw craft stuff away.  It's a bit of a problem really.

This sign is made from scraps of Spring Fling wood.

The little mantle village is made out of paper, wood, felt, washcloth and glitter.

I also gave her the blanket that everything is sitting on.  It's a mini quilt that I made using red and
green fro Christmas, but took a more modern approach on it.  Beautiful.  Look for a post from Maria at Pretty Things Ireland to see more pictures and detail of the items she got.
