I swear I am still alive!!

I've just had a LOT going on.  All the normal mommy stuff and whatnot, plus working on the Fling....
But over the summer, I got an amazing opportunity to illustrate a real life book. And that has taken up a LOT of my time.

But the book comes out this month and I am so excited, and so proud.  It's called I Heart My Little A-Holes  and it's by Karen Alpert of Baby Sideburns fame  (bloggity website and facebook page)  The book is full of hilarious stories about being a mom, and what that REALLY means when you cut away all the fluff and glitter and BS that we fling around to make it look a lot more fun than it really is.

I started up a blog for that, too, continuing my drawings of the characters from the book (Karen and her two little adorable monsters) and some of my own family.  You can find that here, at Barefoot and Doodles.

When the book comes out, it will be in both actual book and ebook form on Amazon.com, and should be pretty reasonably priced.  Yea!!!

I will announce when it comes out.

In the meantime, here are some of my drawings, though none from the book.... you'll have to buy it to see those!  And the more that sell, the more moolah I get and the minis I can buy and make!!!!!
